熊本市の中心市街地である上乃裏通りに新築した3階建てのテナントビルです。 古い低層木造建築の活用により栄えた上乃裏通りのスケール感やイメージを踏襲しました。 上乃裏通りの「通り」が建物の上階まで続いていく立体路地により3階までの全てのお店が路面店のような建物を目指しました。 1階は建物の周り全てが路地に面する庇下のようなスペースをつくりました。

We designed a three-story tenant building on Kaminoura Street, which is the center of Kumamoto City. Kaminoura Street prospered by utilizing old low-rise wooden buildings. I followed the scale and image of Kaminoura Street. The "street" continues to the upper floors of the building. It's like a three-dimensional alley. All the shops aimed at a building like a roadside shop. On the first floor, we created a space like an eaves where everything around the building faces the alley.
